McDaniel College has announced an approximately $15 million bequest, the largest gift in the college's history, along with the public launch of a $50 million comprehensive campaign entitled “Reaching New Heights: The Campaign for McDaniel College.” Learn more at campaign.mcdaniel.edu.
Works by recent Art alums EJ Lee ’15, Sarah Méndez ’24, Quyen Nguyen ’21, and Brenay Spencer ’24 are exhibited in “Four Alumnae, Four Paths,” which runs Monday, Oct. 20–Friday, Dec. 12, in Esther Prangley Rice Gallery, Peterson Hall. An opening reception takes place Thursday, Oct. 23, 5:30–7:30 p.m., with a gallery talk at 6 p.m. The exhibition is also on view during McDaniel’s Homecoming on Friday, Oct. 24, and Saturday, Oct. 25.
McDaniel College alumni, students, families, and community members celebrate Homecoming 2025 on Friday, Oct. 24, and Saturday, Oct. 25, with Homecoming traditions, including tailgating at Kenneth R. Gill Stadium while Green Terror football takes on Dickinson College. Additionally, the annual Green & Gold Challenge, a weeklong competition to support McDaniel's student-athletes, runs Oct. 22-29.
In honor of National Transfer Student Week, McDaniel announces that the college has been named as one of the 251 most transfer-friendly colleges in the nation by Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, an international honor society for two-year colleges.
