    Help McDaniel students reach new heights during the 1867 Challenge

    The 1867 Challenge, an annual giving campaign to support current and future generations of McDaniel College students, kicks off Wednesday, March 11, beginning at 9 a.m., until Thursday, March 12, at 4:07 p.m. That’s 1,867 minutes of giving in honor of the year the college was founded.

    Plans underway to establish new School of Business and Technology at McDaniel

    McDaniel College President Julia Jasken has announced the creation of the college’s first comprehensive school, a new School of Business and Technology, which is targeted to open as early as fall 2027. McDaniel is launching a national search for the inaugural dean of the School of Business and Technology, along with a new Endowed Professor of Computer Science and Technology Innovation.

    Annual student honors exhibition comprises works by graduating Art majors

    McDaniel College’s Art department presents the annual student honors exhibition. Titled “Fragments of Becoming,” the exhibition runs Tuesday, March 3-Friday, March 20, in McDaniel’s Esther Prangley Rice Gallery. An opening reception takes place Thursday, March 5, 5:30-7:30 p.m., with a gallery talk at 6 p.m.
