Working on Campus

As a McDaniel student, you can work on campus to develop yourself professionally and earn some money. Federal Work-Study provides part-time jobs for undergraduate and graduate students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay education expenses. The program encourages community service work and work related to the student’s course of study. If you have not been awarded Federal Work-Study, you can still apply for on-campus positions that are not work-study only.

Federal Work-Study Jobs

As part of your financial aid award from McDaniel, you may be awarded up to $2000 annually in Federal Work-Study. This means you are eligible to apply for work-study jobs on campus. Please note that even if you are eligible for work-study, you are still required to apply for, get and accept a work-study position before you will receive any funds. Do not assume you can apply work-study funding to your balance: You must pay your bill in July before the fall term begins and you cannot apply future anticipated earnings to your balance due.

Non Work-Study Employment on Campus

If you have not been awarded work-study, you may still apply for employment on campus. You are eligible for any job that does not require approved work-study status. The Center for Experience and Opportunity will support you in finding a position that meets your needs.
