Activate your McDaniel student account to access the MyMcDaniel Portal and your new campus email. (Be sure to check your McDaniel email on a regular basis!)

All first-year sessions include an overnight stay. Roommates aren't assigned in advance, but you may request someone at the residence hall upon arrival at Local. Transfer student sessions are a half day, with an overnight option available. 

Note: First-year students who have been admitted and have accepted their spot in the Lumen Scholars program are encouraged to enroll in session 2.

First-year students

Transfer students

If you have your own comparable health insurance coverage, waiving the McDaniel health insurance is easy! The website to waive coverage will be available on May 15. Check back here for the link or login to your Admissions Portal to access the form.

To maintain a healthy campus community and comply with state law, all full-time undergraduate students must complete the pre-entrance health requirements, including the Pre-Entrance Student Health Form and proof of required immunizations. Students who have outstanding health requirements will not be permitted to move in, participate in orientation activities, athletic practices, or competitions, or attend classes. A $500 late fee will be added to bills on August 15 if health requirements are not complete.

Your final high school transcript should be sent to the admissions office once you have graduated. Your final high school transcript should include your high school graduation date and is required in order for McDaniel to disburse any federal and state aid.

In addition to selecting housing options, you'll also choose your meal plan. 

Note: Commuter students should complete this form to select a meal plan as well.

Exams are offered in English, math, and languages to assess where you are now, so you're placed where you need to be.

Login to Financial Aid Self-Service via the MyMcDaniel Portal to be sure that you’ve completed all required financial aid items, including signing your offer letter, completing the promissory note and entrance counseling, and accepting any remaining aid that is pending.

Fall bills will be available online in Self-Service and mailed on June 10. McDaniel is a green school, so future statements are online only.

Pay your fall semester bill by July 15 or enroll in a payment plan. Payment plan enrollment opens June 15, and the first installment is due when you enroll; installment amounts depend on your enrollment date. Students without a paid bill or active payment plan will not be permitted to move in or participate in classes, orientation programming, and athletic practices or competitions.

June 1: Registration for housing accommodation and provider forms due.

June 1: Registration for academic accommodation.

The SASS Office assists students with documented disabilities and works individually with each student to determine and implement appropriate accommodations based on specific needs.

You can grant permission to a parent, guardian, spouse, or other trusted individual to access limited billing account information online as an authorized user.

Commuter students may purchase a meal plan by submitting a form to the Bursar office. Look for more information on your checklist in your Admissions Portal.
