Join us on the Hill!

All Green Terrors are invited back to the Hill for Homecoming 2023. On Friday, we will celebrate our Athletics Hall of Fame Inductees.  Then on Saturday, join us for a brunch with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee of the Alumni Council. We also honor our recently departed alumni with our bi-annual Memorial Bell Ringing Ceremony. Afterwards, connect with fellow Green Terrors in our popular Decades Tent near the caboose. We have a very special celebration this year ... the Green Terror is turning 100!! Join us for cupcakes, celebration, and fun!

Join us for our annual celebration of our 2023 Athletics Hall of Fame inductees. A buffet dinner and an open bar will be available before the 6:45 p.m. ceremony! Dessert and champagne will follow.

Homecoming 2022 DEI Brunch

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee of the Alumni Council invites BIPOC alumni, allies, and guests back to the Hill for a bottomless mimosa brunch!  Join Dr. Richard M. Smith ’00Associate Provost for Equity and Belonging, members of the College’s Office of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (ODEI), and students for food, drinks, and networking

Memorial Bell Ringing

Saturday, September 30 Memorial Bell Ringing Ceremony 11:30 a.m. | Red Square, Rain Location Little Baker Chapel (and Livestream)

Gather with fellow classmates and the McDaniel community for a special memorial bell ringing ceremony led by members of the Student Alumni Council to honor alumni who have passed.* 

(*Memorial Bell Ringing program will include names of alumni who we have been notified of passing since April 1, 2022.)

Saturday, September 30 Decades Tent  10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Stadium Bowl (near the Caboose)

Celebrate Homecoming through the decades with fellow Green Terrors. Be sure to check in with your Alumni Engagement Team in the Alumni Headquarters tent for some swag, complimentary snacks, and a drink ticket. A beer and wine cash bar will be available in the tent. Don’t forget – hungry Green Terrors can bring their own game day treats into the tent or purchase some from our concession stand in the concourse in Gill Stadium.  There will also be a bin where you can drop off gently used professional clothing donations for the Career Closet the CEO office holds for students in the spring.

Wish our beloved mascot the happiest 100th birthday at a special party! Join us for cupcakes, celebration, and fun!

Saturday, September 30 Pre-Game Festivities 12:30 p.m.

Prior to kickoff, enjoy all of the pre-game college traditions including the crowning of the Homecoming Royalty, awarding the winner of Letters on the Hill, and the presentation of the James Brant Memorial Cup to the Greek organization that has excelled in academics, varsity sports, leadership, and community service during the prior academic year.
