McDaniel College’s Board of Trustees voted unanimously to endorse the college’s next five-year strategic plan, “Reaching New Heights: McDaniel College Strategic Plan 2022-2027," which further positions McDaniel as an innovative liberal arts college focused on student achievement and professional success.
Alumni are invited back to campus Friday, June 6-Sunday, June 8 for a weekend of engaging activities to reconnect and reminisce. Special milestone Reunion events take place for classes ending in zero and five. More information is available at www.mcdaniel.edu/alumniweekend.
Published during Military Appreciation Month, McDaniel has been recognized for the upcoming 2025-26 academic year among the nation’s top schools for military and veteran students and as a Military Spouse Friendly School. McDaniel has annually made the Military Friendly® Schools list since 2009.
Among family and friends, 380 bachelor’s candidates crossed the stage to receive their degrees on Friday, May 23, during McDaniel College’s 155th Commencement ceremony. Military and business leader Linda L. Singh addressed the graduating class, talking to them about power, resilience, self-care, and leaning into the uncertainty of the world. An Honorary Doctor of Public Service was also awarded to former U.S. Representative C. A. Dutch Ruppersberger.
