McDaniel College celebrates the power of philanthropy through Thank a Giver (TAG) Day 2021

The McDaniel College community celebrated the power of philanthropy through Thank a Giver (TAG) Day. This annual event, held by the McDaniel College Student Alumni Council on April 28, 2021, allowed the McDaniel community to recognize all of the college’s donors.

There were 2,374 pinwheels set up throughout the college's Red Square to represent donors in the last year with $6.7 million in gifts and pledges raised, including more than $1.6 million in documented bequest intentions, and $114,764 raised for the Emergency Relief Fund. Throughout the day, students were able to sign postcards and make videos to personally thank donors.
