    Homecoming 2025 celebrated on the Hill

    Homecoming 2025 included cheering for the Green Terror while tailgating during Saturday's home football game. The official dedication and ribbon-cutting of the Dr. Richard A. Clower '50 Track, as well as the presentation of the Homecoming Court, awarding the James Brant Memorial Cup, and naming the winners of the Letters on the Hill contest, took place prior to kickoff.

    McDaniel hosts Homecoming 2025

    Alumni, students, families, and community members celebrate Homecoming 2025 on Friday, Oct. 24, and Saturday, Oct. 25, with Homecoming traditions, including tailgating at Kenneth R. Gill Stadium while Green Terror football takes on Dickinson College. Additionally, the annual Green & Gold Challenge, a weeklong competition to support McDaniel's student-athletes, runs Oct. 22-29.

    McDaniel College has been awarded funding through the Maryland E-Nnovation Initiative Fund (MEIF) to establish an Endowed Professorship in Computational Innovation and Emerging Technologies in the Mathematics and Computer Science department.

    Senior History majors present at annual History honor society conference

    Seven History seniors were invited to present at the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference held April 12. Senior History major Emily Liszewski won second prize in the world history division and McDaniel's Omega Upsilon chapter was awarded special recognition as the “Most Enthusiastic Chapter” at the conference.

    Psychology professor selected as Boehlke Fellow

    Psychology Professor Jack D. Arnal is the 2025 Charles A. Boehlke, Jr. Engaged Faculty Fellow. Established with a gift from Charles A. Boehlke, Jr., a 1978 alum of the college and current member of the McDaniel Board of Trustees, faculty are named Boehlke Fellows in recognition of their exceptional commitment to their students, not only in classrooms and research labs but also with career and internship experiences.

    Four Maryland high school seniors surprised with Dorsey Scholarships to McDaniel

    McDaniel College’s Admissions Office along with the Green Terror surprised four incoming Class of 2029 students by announcing them as the college’s newest Dorsey Scholars. The Dorsey Scholars Program is the highest academic honor at McDaniel and includes full tuition, room, and board for all four years.

    First 1867 Challenge exceeds donor and dollar goals

    Alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends showed their support for current and future McDaniel students during the 1867 Challenge. The entire McDaniel community came together during this year's annual giving campaign to raise $483,839 from 635 donors in 1,876 minutes to honor the college's founding year.

    The 1867 Challenge, McDaniel College's annual giving campaign, kicks off on Tuesday, March 11, at 9 a.m. and runs through Wednesday, March 12, at 4:07 p.m. That's 1,867 minutes of giving to honor McDaniel’s founding year in support of current and future students.
