McDaniel College's Theatre Arts department presents “Wintertime,” a comedy by Charles L. Mee that combines elements of Shakespeare, Verdi, and Magritte, with a little magic thrown in for good measure.

"Wintertime" follows a family and their lovers as they accidentally gather together at a vacation home in the dead of winter.

Richard Sautter, adjunct lecturer in Theatre Arts, directs the production, which is intended for mature audiences.

Sautter notes, "I fell in love with 'Wintertime' when I first read it, which is appropriate, because it's all about love."

Performances are Thursday, Sept. 29-Saturday, Oct. 1, at 7:30 p.m. on the WMC Alumni Hall Mainstage. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors (over 60), students, active military members and veterans, as well as those with a McDaniel College ID. For ticket information, call 410-857-2448.
