McDaniel named among top master’s universities by Washington Monthly

Washington Monthly ranks McDaniel College among the top master's universities in the nation. McDaniel was also again included on the "Best Bang for the Buck" list of public and private institutions in the Northeast region.

McDaniel has been listed among the top four-year institutions in the nation that award a significant number of master’s degrees, according to Washington Monthly.

McDaniel College ranks among the top master’s universities in the nation, according to Washington Monthly.

McDaniel placed #30 out of 614 four-year institutions that award a significant number of master’s degrees. The magazine annually evaluates colleges "based on their contribution to the public good in three broad categories: social mobility, research, and promoting public service.”

McDaniel was also again included on the “Best Bang for the Buck” list of public and private institutions in the Northeast region. The schools included on this list are recognized for “how well they help non-wealthy students attain marketable degrees at affordable prices.”

Washington Monthly, which began its rankings in 2005, rates schools based on “how well they serve the country as a whole.”
