Emily Sneeringer of Hanover, Pa., a senior on the McDaniel softball team, has been named the Centennial Conference (CC) Co-Player of the Week for the week of Mar. 31-Apr. 6.

Sneeringer led the Green Terror (13-9, 5-3 CC) to a 4-2 week, hitting .556 on the week. She recorded 10 hits, including two doubles and two home runs on the week. Her first home run was a walk-off two-run shot in the bottom of the eighth inning to salvage a split with Muhlenberg. On April 6, she blasted a grand slam as part of an eight-run third inning in an 8-0 game-one win over Swarthmore. She also had a team-best nine RBIs.

McDaniel pitching limited Franklin & Marshall to just one run April 6, while the offense racked up 14 runs and 22 hits in a Centennial Conference (CC) doubleheader sweep.

The Green Terror (9-12, 3-3 CC) took the opener 11-0 behind a complete-game, seven-hit shutout by Zach Kronick of Schenectady, N.Y., who improved to 2-0 on the mound. In game two, McDaniel got back to .500 in conference play with a 3-1 win. Andrew Monger of Ellicott City, Md., went eight innings with five strikeouts for his third win while David Pisauro of Macungie, Pa., pitched the ninth to earn the save.
