McDaniel College students perform in a darkly comic reimagining of Bram Stoker's "Dracula"

McDaniel College Theatre presents "Dracula, A Feminist Revenge Fantasy, Really,” by Kate Hamill. Based on the classic Bram Stoker novel, this darkly comic reimagining is about survival, systemic power, and ultimate revenge. 

The production is directed by Gené Fouché, assistant professor and department chair of Theatre Arts.

Performances are Thursday, Oct. 1–Saturday, Oct. 3, at 7:30 p.m. on the WMC Alumni Hall Mainstage. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students, seniors (over 60), active military members and veterans, as well as those with a McDaniel College ID. For ticket information, call 410-857-2448.

Fouché said, “This version of Dracula takes a more woman-forward spin on the original story. Although loosely based on the original, I think audiences will find enough similarity and enjoy this new take on the classic story.”
