McDaniel selects new Global Fellows

McDaniel College selects eight students into the college's Global Fellows program. The Global Fellows program is designed to enhance students’ understanding of global issues, develop heightened intercultural competency, and cultivate the skills and attitudes important to leading successful lives in a global context. Students earn a Global Fellow designation on their transcript upon completion of the program.

McDaniel College selects eight students as Global Fellows.

The Global Fellows program is designed to enhance students’ understanding of global issues, develop heightened intercultural competency and cultivate the skills and attitudes important to leading successful lives in a global context.

Through the program, students create a global portfolio and earn a Global Fellow designation on their transcript upon completion.

The newly inducted Global Fellows are:

Ashley Alvarez-Fuentes, first-year Accounting major from Germantown, Maryland
Ivan Ang, sophomore Political Science and Psychology major from Hagerstown, Maryland
Chance Hecht, first-year Environmental Studies major from Arlington, Virginia
Alizeh Khan, senior Biomedical Science and Health Sciences major from Westminster, Maryland
Emily Knight, junior Marketing major from Pocomoke City, Maryland
Kayla Noland, first-year Business Administration major from Frederick, Maryland
Liana Samuel, first-year Health Sciences major from Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Sarah Sweeney, first-year student from Washington, D.C.
