She obtained a doctorate in Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, with an emphasis in Sport Psychology and Performance Excellence and a doctoral cognate in Counseling. During my time with Dr. Gibson as my advisor, I have experienced firsthand the genuine care and dedication that she shows towards her students’ academic success and personal well-being. I personally have struggled a lot during my four years of college...Through it all, Dr. Gibson has consistently helped me. She is one of the biggest reasons why I've been able to graduate despite the challenges...She is the standard that I'm trying to live up to as a future teacher.
