Creating Life Changing Opportunities

Through the generosity of donors, 11 new funds were established in the 2019-2020 academic year. These funds support scholarships that make a McDaniel education accessible, life-changing research, and experiential learning opportunities such as study abroad.

Through the establishment of endowed funds, donors create a link to past, current,
and future generations of students. Endowment gifts create dependable funding
through long-term investment, preserving gifts in perpetuity — powering McDaniel’s
mission for years to come. Named endowed funds begin at $25,000 and can be used
to generate support for a broad area or a more specific program, such as a scholarship,
professorship, or research fund. In the 2019-2020 fiscal year, seven new scholarships
and four new endowed funds were created
