    Record-breaking donations raised through One Hill, One Day, annual giving campaign

    Alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends showed their support for current and future McDaniel students during One Hill, One Day, McDaniel's annual giving campaign. The entire McDaniel community came together this year to raise $462,842 from 700 donors.

    Beginning March 25, the McDaniel community and friends can come together during One Hill, One Day, the college's annual giving campaign, to support current and future McDaniel students by giving to what they love, whether it's Academic Excellence, Campus Life and Belonging, Athletic Success, or McDaniel's Greatest Needs.

    Common Ground on the Hill receives Maryland State Arts Council award

    Common Ground on the Hill, in residence at McDaniel College, received the Maryland State Arts Council's Heritage Award in the Tradition category for the Deer Creek Fiddlers' Convention. Common Ground on the Hill was founded in 1994 by Walt Michael '68 who assumed directorship of the Deer Creek Fiddlers' Convention in 2011.

    McDaniel Athletics announces Skyler Fultz '11 as new head football coach

    McDaniel alum Skyler Fultz '11 has been selected as McDaniel College's new head football coach. Fultz is the 28th head coach in the 133-year history of Green Terror football and the 10th alum to lead the program. He has spent the last nine years at King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, including the 2023 season as head coach.

    McDaniel alumni give back with Data Analytics internship

    Alums John Sobanski ’99 and Kevin Worley ’00 connected with their alma mater to invite graduate students in the M.S. in Data Analytics program to intern with their company, Pyramid Systems Inc. They knew it was the right call when Data Analytics student Michael Eniolade interned with their team.

    Cinema alum Jonny Hughes ’23 was awarded two 2022-23 Capital Emmy Student Production Awards for his capstone film "Sky & Shadow," which he created in his final year at McDaniel.     McDaniel College’s Department of Music presents special seasonal concert

    Organized by Shelley Ensor, senior adjunct lecturer, “McDaniel for the Holidays” features McDaniel students, alumni, faculty, and staff, as well as community members, in a program celebrating the holiday season. The free performance takes place Sunday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m. in Baker Memorial Chapel.

    McDaniel alum Mary Kay Connerton named 2024 Maryland Teacher of the Year

    Update as of 10.13.23: Mary Kay Connerton has been named the 2023-24 Maryland Teacher of the Year! Connerton, who earned McDaniel’s Administrator 1 Certificate in May 2019, teaches at Annapolis High School in Anne Arundel County.
