Festivities on Saturday, Oct. 25, begin with alumni games for women's lacrosse, baseball, volleyball, and softball.

Other highlights include the annual brunch hosted by the Alumni Coalition for Belonging & Impact and the Memorial Bell Ringing Ceremony, plus a celebration for the public launch of “Reaching New Heights: The Campaign for McDaniel College,” highlighting the specific priorities, including the creation of spaces for academic excellence, cultivating campus life and community belonging, and increasing engagement through community and career connections.

McDaniel Admissions also hosts a Game Day Open House for prospective students (advance registration required).

Prior to kick off of the Green Terror football game is the official dedication and ribbon-cutting of the new donor-funded Dr. Richard A. Clower ’50 Track at Kenneth R. Gill Stadium, named in honor of Dick Clower '50, professor emeritus of Exercise Science and Physical Education (now Kinesiology), who also served as the college’s director of Athletics. Dick Clower and his wife, Sherry Clower '94, M.S. '99, will join McDaniel President Julia Jasken for the ceremony and members of the men’s and women’s track and field teams will take part in a ceremonial lap around the track.

Other Homecoming traditions, including the presentation of the Homecoming Court, naming the winner of the Letters on the Hill contest, and awarding the James Brant Memorial Cup to the McDaniel fraternity or sorority that excels in academics, varsity sports, leadership, and community service, also occur pre-game of the football game before Green Terror football takes on Dickinson College at 1 p.m. at Kenneth R. Gill Stadium.

In addition to the alumni tailgating tent during the game, featured tailgates include women's basketball, golf alumni, theatre alumni, study abroad alumni, the American Sign Language department, Alpha Gamma Tau (Bachelors), the Alumni Coalition for Belonging & Impact, and the McDaniel Women's Leadership Network.
