Starting Up

Students in the Entrepreneurship Minor will learn to develop their passion into purposeful next steps, by understanding and practicing the skills of entrepreneurs and appreciating the types of innovation that foster successful enterprises.

Interdisciplinary Approach

This minor is purposefully designed to be multidisciplinary. This means it can be taken with any combination of majors and minors, and can be tailored to meet particular student interests in innovation. You'll take core courses that will build your appreciation of risk and managing failure, while fully utilizing your liberal arts foundation. And of course, you'll be able to build on your own ideas and encouraged to enter the Innovation Challenge.

McDaniel Commitment in Action

The McDaniel Commitment—a series of opportunities guaranteed to all students—provides enhanced mentoring and coaching, and ensures every undergraduate student completes at least two meaningful experiential learning opportunities.
