Financial Aid Process
Our goal is to make a McDaniel College education as affordable as possible. Students may receive scholarships, grants, and loans from the College, from the federal and state governments, and from private organizations.
New students planning to attend McDaniel College will receive a Financial Aid Award Letter by mail. The letter may be a Final Award Letter or an Estimated Award Letter. If you receive an Estimated Award Letter it generally means that the Financial Aid office is missing something needed to complete your file.
Students with estimated award letters will be contacted by the Financial Aid Office via email to request additional documentation needed to complete their financial aid file.
