An important component of college life is learning to manage your money. Having a financial plan is essential to achieving success and to avoiding financial hardship.

A good financial plan will help you identify your goals and the means by which to meet those goals. Financial planning consists of more than just paying your loans and credit card bills, however. It also involves possessing the financial knowledge to make informed choices.
