5-Year B.A./M.S.

Jumpstart Your Career

McDaniel sophomores and juniors: are you thinking about attending graduate school?  What if you could earn a master’s degree without leaving McDaniel?  McDaniel’s five-year programs provide you the opportunity to earn your bachelor’s and master’s degree in just five years.

Graduates holding a master’s degree are more marketable, in-demand and eligible for higher-level starting positions. Five-year plans for qualified McDaniel students include programs in  Gerontology, Human Services Management, Secondary General Education/Special Education, Music Education and Secondary Teaching. Students wishing to earn the five-year B.A./M.S. will need to plan their undergraduate coure curriculum accordingly starting in their first year. Students should have a dialogue with First Stop and their academic advisor throughout their beginning years regarding their desire to earn the master's.
