Money Magazine named McDaniel a 2015-16 “Best College” in its national rankings using unique measures: educational quality, affordability, and career outcomes.
At McDaniel, 90 percent of first-year students receive merit and/or need-based financial aid to offset the sticker price (tuition, fees, books, room and board). The current freshmen class includes a record number of students of color and almost 40 percent are among the first-generation in their families to attend college.
In addition to Money Magazine, McDaniel ranked at the top of Washington Monthly’s “Best Bang for the Buck” list for liberal arts colleges for the second year in a row. McDaniel continues to be recognized among the first tier of national liberal arts colleges by U.S. News. McDaniel is also recognized nationally among 40 “Colleges That Change Lives.”
